Tis the season to be jolly... I love Christmas!

Tis the season to be jolly... if you throw away the bathroom scale!  Fa la la la la... you know how it goes.  The homemade cookies and eggnog are killing me  MAN is it busy!! Wouldn't it be great if busyness burned calories?
I would disappear.

But I really do love Christmas.  Merry Christmas (as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and say "Merry Christmas") and Happy New Year to all my friends and my blog friends (all two of you).
I love your support and of course you know what I think of your work....Sensational and I'm happy to be to see it , view it, buy it and wish I could meet you.  Thank for your support and your beautiful blogs and words of encouragement.

This is the last bear of my year and my 60th bear, Nellie Star.  She is a special gift for a dear friend at Christmas one of four sisters at will be re-homed as gifts. Ssssh don't tell Rhonda.

Longmont United Hospital 1950 W. Mountain View Avenue Longmont, CO. 80503

Klintzfamily Bears will be selling bears at this event. Proceeds from the show goes to the Longmont United Hosiptal volunteers who provide hours of tireless service to the hospital.

I'm so excited, it's my second show. I have ten bears in the show, most made from my very own pattern I designed this year. Some are holiday themed, all are soft and sweet and ready for new homes, loving owners and tons of attention.  I hope you can come!

Clarence and Lulu

State Fair Entry 2011

Clarence and Lulu are what you would call the main attraction.
Show stoppers, sell outs, “they all come to see the clown in tent number 3. ”
Although he could have his “pick of the litter” from the circus poodle’s pups, Clarence choose Lulu at the pound.
He took a chance on her skills and trained her with loving-kindness and together they fill the tent with joy and laughter and the circus with financial success.
I had a blast making Clarence and Lulu and was so proud to create him from my own pattern designed January of 2011. I carefully though out his theatrical appearance, shading his face, paws and feet just enough to imply a sensational performer in the show ring, a seasoned veteran, he is the one who all other’s set their standard by.

Galway City, Ireland

I use to love packing and I use to be really good at it.  Anymore I'm lucky to have enough underwear and a toothbrush.  I wish I had a travel secretary, I like to travel and it sure would be nice.  I'm in Ireland for the first time now.  It's been beautiful, it's been very windy, it's been cold.   I like it.

I planned to have some stow-aways with me because they're easy to get through security and customs without me being declared a terrorist. One of them is a holy terror, he loves to travel.

Amos!

His first night at the pub. Ran up quite a bill for stout.  Belched and giggled the whole night.  Hazel and Thomas aren't speaking to him. Neither am I.

That was good, that was some bad and that was horrible!

I’m new to blogging and teddy bear making too. Bearing is going great, blogging is going bad and here is why.  Today I finished my 4th of July teddy bear for the hospital show. That was good.  I like the way my new pattern is working out for smaller bears.  They are really chubby with a monstrous hump.  My Betsy Ross changed on me to a boy.  So I’ll call the little guy Hero. That was good.

Practice makes perfect is a motto I’ve tried to follow.  But this morning as I was ironing my husband’s shirt I was struck. Ironing now there is something I’ve had a lot of practice at.  Been doing in since…well…. I don’t know, decades?  I’m really not much good at it.  That’s what I thought when I’d finished the shirt, till wrinkled and creased.  That’s when I started to get scared.  That was some bad.

I’ve been looking for my blog spot on search engines ever since I started it which was just a few days ago and couldn’t find it.  I realized later the blogger had been down.  Then Sunday there is was…Klintzfamily bears.blogspot.com.  How exciting! I noticed another blogger Cool-bear; I’m just above this one. I popped on to it, totally disregarding the disclaimer which is a warning…politically dressed up bears maybe… teddy bear violence…I doubt it.

I had no idea that was possible on a blog! It outrageous and illegal…I think!  I never expected that. Lot’s of fur and cuddling but no teddy bears.  Clearly it’s a pornography site. I felt dopey for not heeding the warning but I never believed you could post stuff like that on the Internet. Please be warned, this is NOT to peak your interest. I wanted to take down my blog because of the “bear” in the title and it’s subject matter being linked to other immorality sites but Jerry said, don’t. That was horrible!
