Donna's Bear
It’s nice to make little bears with such spirit. Sadly my newly made sweetie would not heed warnings nor take advice. She was determined to climb a tree. “not at all afraid” she shouted and made for the forest (our house sits on the corner and the corner area is heavily treed with fur and pine trees and rocks so I call it the forest but it’s not a real forest just a suburban one). Well I guess the combination of squirrels and dove wings flipping got the best of her and she lost her grip and she fell clocking her head on my stone rabbit and then there was some tumbling I guess…,she was sobbing quite a bit telling the story.
Well, it could have been worst. Some bruising, a black eye, stitches' and a busted front paw but she’ll live.
With luck, she’ll be adopted by my dear friend Donna who just passed nursing school with flying colors. She’ll see to sweet thing’s ailments and make her well again!
Poor little thing. The pain meds make her hallucinate giant bees but she’s eating good and even laughs talking about it to the other bears.
