Crafty Peoples Fair, A Spring, Craft, Art and Trade Show
Well, they have decided to let Klintzfamily Bears in to this show. I'll be at this one day show in April with 10-or 12 bears and bunny (ALL SOLD OUT THANK YOU). I haven't decides where or if I want to sell my teddy bears. Both EBay and Etsy don't feel right for reasons I don't think I know or can put into words. I'm all but in visible on Zibbet which seems perfect, low stress, no inhibition anxiety and its mostly free.
I L-O-V-E crafts shows!! I love spending all day with those who create, love the networking, design tips, friendships, men who craft, classes (I've been to sewing, jewelry making class), selling parties, lunches, antiquing with crafting friends from shows. I love the creative trades and swaps the atmosphere all of it!! My card files are bursting, I see GREAT websites and blogs. So here is one I'm a part of, you can find info on facebook by searching the title; crafty peoples fair.
Some of their claims with regard to population/traffic are outlandish...no one came last year so a presence of over 3000 in attendance that they quote is shineola. Thirty, all day is more like it. I tend to do fine at show lowly attended so I don't mind.

Tis the season to be jolly... I love Christmas!
I wanted to have this post ready yesterday, that's when I posted last year but it's so busy now and the Christmas bear hadn't been photographed. "God bless us everyone" as Tina my tiny new pink bear would say.
Thank you blog friends for your support and kind words. I saw some of the most outstanding work from your websites and blogs. Wow and I praise the Lord for you all, the inspiration, it helps me so with my own bears and what a fun year of teddys it was. I finally saw the end to the green bear phase only to see the black bear phase emerge.

Sadly, I lost a bear to the Grand Canyon this year. Rest in peace Travis, we will always love and remember you (hopefully he won't turn up in the gut of every one's favorite condor in the Canyon...that would be bad for business). What a great year! Merry Christmas. Here's Joy Noel, a bear for Mom, one more to go with the other seven. She's my biggest fan. It's nice to have a fan.

a summer post I missed until now......oops!!
Donna's Bear
It’s nice to make little bears with such spirit. Sadly my newly made sweetie would not heed warnings nor take advice. She was determined to climb a tree. “not at all afraid” she shouted and made for the forest (our house sits on the corner and the corner area is heavily treed with fur and pine trees and rocks so I call it the forest but it’s not a real forest just a suburban one). Well I guess the combination of squirrels and dove wings flipping got the best of her and she lost her grip and she fell clocking her head on my stone rabbit and then there was some tumbling I guess…,she was sobbing quite a bit telling the story.

Well, it could have been worst. Some bruising, a black eye, stitches' and a busted front paw but she’ll live.

With luck, she’ll be adopted by my dear friend Donna who just passed nursing school with flying colors. She’ll see to sweet thing’s ailments and make her well again!
Poor little thing. The pain meds make her hallucinate giant bees but she’s eating good and even laughs talking about it to the other bears.
